結界師
"When we put on the same shirt and the wristbands light up, wherever we are, this venue belongs to us."
You and your fixed crew build a spiritual perimeter together. You do not plan six months ahead. The moment the one name announces a show, the old friends assemble in a heartbeat. With matching gear and matching fan kit, in a crowd of ten thousand you draw a circle of joy that belongs only to you.
Under the surface
You have enormous group loyalty and total devotion to one name. Loose and spontaneous, the call goes out in the group chat a day or two before: see you on the floor tonight. A perimeter cannot be built alone. You always have a circle of familiar faces around you, shoulder to shoulder. The circle opens only for the one name. Custom crew shirts, official light-up wristbands, the group flag: these are the physical foundations of the perimeter, bought with real money and carried home. You never throw any of it away. A whole cabinet of matching merch is the road this crew has walked together.
On the floor: habits and kit
In the bag
Custom crew shirts, matching light-up wristbands, the group flag, and a big bag for the merch.
In the queue
The crew meets at the merch stand, everyone gets their wallet out, the latest official fan kit is bought in full and put on right there. Ceremony at maximum.
During the show
A ring, hands held or arms linked. At the peak of the night the loyal crew closes into a private circle in matching shirts. Outsiders cannot get in. Inside the perimeter you sing and scream with the one name as one voice.
After the lights come up
Everyone packs away the flag and the wristbands carefully. Another page in the crew's collection. Then out for food, buzzing.
Best night, worst night
The high
The big singalong arrives, you and five of your closest people lock arms in a ring and roar at the stage until your voices go. For that moment you are the centre of the universe.
The breaking point
A few drunk strangers push into your space, ignore the music, talk loudly the whole time and keep knocking into you. The perimeter you built all night, broken.
Back home
Withdrawal
The group chat sits at ninety-nine plus for a full week. The same clips of each other losing it get passed round again and again, and the next date is agreed: same crew, no exceptions.
Natural habitat
The crew's own patch in the middle of a festival standing area. A whole row of seats in the stands booked out for the group. The private room at the late-night restaurant.
Company and how to be around them
Best match·MarshalPCEA
The Marshal organises the day, the Warden fills the inside of the circle with warmth and safety. Perfect fit.
Handle with care·Night WatchPSLW
A Night Watch likes watching alone and in silence. A Warden pulling them into the circle will make them want to run for the exit.
How to be around them
Respect the small group's rituals. If you are new, show real love for the band first. This crew will pull you into the perimeter with open arms.
A letter to the Warden
You built a solid castle out of passion and put your best friends and the purest music inside it. But sometimes the walls are high enough that you miss the view outside them. Next time, push the perimeter out just a little, and pull in that stranger standing alone in the corner, quietly crying to the same song as you.
Impulse · Loyal
You are one of the Firechasers
Fast, fierce, and faithful to one name
Where you come from
By the time the announcement lands, you are already on the checkout page. There was nothing to think about. You made the decision long ago and simply had not said it out loud yet. Your heart went to one name, and it went completely, with nothing held back. People say you love too hard. You think if you are not loving a show too hard, what exactly are you doing there.
Plans are for people who are still deciding, and you have never been undecided. You just took the seconds other people spend hesitating and turned them into the seconds it takes to grab a front row ticket. And those seconds became the brightest nights of your last few years.
